This policy explains how the Churchill Quarry Concerns Group ("we", "us") handles information when you visit churchillquarryconcerns.com. We aim to keep this simple: we run a community campaign website, not a business, and we collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not sell any data. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us — for example, if you email us at info@churchillquarryconcerns.com or fill in the incident report form on our site. We use that solely to reply to you and to support the campaign.

The incident report form

When you submit a report, the details you enter are sent to us by email through the form service FormSubmit, which delivers the message to our inbox. To stop automated spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly check that sets no tracking cookies and does not profile you. Only fill in the fields you're comfortable sharing — you can leave your name blank and report anonymously. We use reports to document the impact of quarrying and, where appropriate, to raise concerns with the relevant authorities.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use cookies and does not track you across the web. To get a rough sense of how many people visit and which pages are read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first: it sets no cookies, stores no personal data and does not build a profile of you. Because nothing personal is collected, there is no cookie banner to accept — you can simply read the site.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Irish data protection law you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and to object to its use. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@churchillquarryconcerns.com. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Third-party links

Our site links to other sites (such as Donegal County Council and the National Parks & Wildlife Service). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
